Texts from Hillary.
From what I understand, the meme itself is the brainchild of Stacy Lambe and Adam Smith - two PR professionals in Washington, DC. The concept was to marry one of two images featuring US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, aboard a military C-17 checking her blackberry in some very serious looking shades.

I didn’t think there would be a political meme that could make me forget for a moment that Rick Santorum looked like McLovin (yes, we all noticed) or how Dan Savage completely pwnd (oh hai!) Rick Santorum with a mind blowing Google keyword campaign… I won’t even get into (O, it’s you again!) Santorum’s sweatervest. In fact, I was starting to think that Santorum was the only meme worthy candidate in the whole US 2012 Presidential race!!!
Then two brilliant minds had an epiphany late last night to turn Hillary Clinton into, potentially, one of the funniest political memes to enter the presidential race. The images depict Clinton like we all know and love her, a little stern, a little dry, a lot busy and with a touch of power-bitch.
According to Mashable, it was some influencer friends/Twitter followers who helped to make the meme viral.

The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly; it is dearness only that gives everything its value. I love the man that can smile in trouble, that can gather strength from distress and grow brave by reflection. ‘Tis the business of little minds to shrink; but he whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves his conduct, will pursue his principles unto death.
